A Radical Rocker for the Modern Guitar Hero
The Conqueror electric guitar has a body crafted from solid mahogany, with a glued-in quarter-sawn mahogany neck carved in a thin 1960s profile and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. Killer looks are assured by a genuine nitrocellulose lacquer finish, given an added touch of elegance with cream binding around the body and fingerboard, and vintage amber top hat control knobs. The time-tested dimensions of a 24 3/4 inch scale length, a 1 11/16 inch nut width, and a 12 inch fingerboard radius ensures playability, too.
To take it all to the next dimension, the Conqueror carries two of the most popular humbucking pickups, a 1957 pickup in the neck position for sweet, warm vocal tones, and a slightly hotter number 3 pickup in the bridge for gutsy crunch and soaring lead tones. These acclaimed units - both installed uncovered with exposed zebra coil bobbins are made with genuine nickel magnets and wound with 42 AWG wire, just like the legendary pickups of the late 1950s and early 1960s, and offer a blend of depth and clarity that few pickups can match today.
