The legend continues with 21st-century neck refinements.
The LP electric guitar earns its name thanks to the traditional features you expect in a LP guitar: mahogany body, set neck with rounded 1950s profile, maple top, and a pair of 1957 humbucker pickups. A machine analyzes one significant improvement - the neck. Using computer precision the machine files the frets and cuts slots in the nut to an accuracy of a hundredth of a millimeter for optimal action and intonation without string buzzing.
